We use and recommend Helmar Premium Craft Glue. It is very fast drying, gets tacky quickly and easily rolls into balls when you get it on your fingers or the lining of the lampshade.

Available in 50ml and 125ml bottles. A 50ml bottle is enough to make two 20cm or 25cm diameter lampshades or one of the larger sizes. It is easier to operate this small bottle in smaller rings than the 125ml bottle. The 125ml bottle is generally a little easier to handle as the bottle itself is more flexible.
Note: Our craft glue is a thick, fast drying glue. This means you need to keep the nozzle shut whenever not in use and after every gluing action so it won't dry out. Avoid excessive squeezing by holding the bottle upside-down for a few seconds, waiting for the glue to reach the nib. Be patient!
Make sure you clean off excessive glue before it dries out. It rolls into little dry balls when you rub it with your fingers.
